New Toy is In!
November 20th, 2008My new monitor arrived from Staples today 5 days early! I’m not too impressed, but at only $150 for it I am not complaining.

My favorite branch of the military.
Today is a day that i realize my Grandmother had instilled in me and was hammering the importance of what she and my ancestors before me have fought to give to us. I’m happy that I have lived to actually see a black man actually become president and not just in a Hollywood movie. I’m also happy to see a change in the way the country will be ran. The last eight years may have been great for some, but it sure did not work for me at all.
I’m also hoping that I can stop hearing the political gripings and complaints.
Looks like I need surgery to repair my shoulder! Since it’s been torn or messed up for a year, I will wait till December to schedule it. I’m not looking forward to the rehab since I watched a guy in physical therapy go through this. It may be a long winter.
Got my MRI results back! I have a partial tear and will be going to a specialist on Wednesday to see what is my next step! I’m glad it was not a bone spur or tendinitis! More to come!
Yesterday I realized how quickly time is going past. It’s October again and the month that seems that life always changes for me. No matter what happens, it always seems like an event happens in this month and then my life takes a different twist after October is over. It’s strange when I look at it. This is the month that I was suppose to be born. I was due October 21st, but decided to make my arrival in August instead. So, Ihave to say I’m adjusting nicely to life right now and for once I think I’m in a pretty good spot. I still feel like I’m not complete, but I had some pretty big holes placed in my life this summer, but also have to be thankful for some of the new things that came in to help fill those holes. So here’s looking forward to the future.
Received a great gift from Kevin and Jenifer! I got two cool @$$ wine stoppers and some chocolate that was made to pair with port! Once again I thank the two of them!
The dream became reality for the residents of Marino, south of Rome in the Castelli Romani chain of wine-producing towns, however..
