Family is getting ready for the move from up North to Texas.Cedar Point trip is coming up, because this looks like the last time we will be able to go without using vacation time and traveling 2,000 miles.

Year goes by fast.

It’s been one year now since Vince passed in his sleep. Still missed, but not forgotten.

Happy Birthday Vince

May 25th, 2009

Went to visit Vince’s headstone today. Though he may not have died while serving our country, he was a veteran and I can not forget him on his birthday and Memorial day.

Last Arm update..

May 22nd, 2009

I stopped going to therapy. Arm if around 95%, but my work schedule is interfering with heading to physical therapy now. But having 4 day weekend every other week is pretty cool. It’s coming up on a year since Vince and Monifah were visiting on Vince’s birthday. It’s amazing how quickly time passes.

Sumer Starts..

Went to see Star Trek last night with La Toya. Great movie and company! Looks like it’s going to be a good summer!

Let it END!

April 24th, 2009

Therapy went to twice as long today, and once again new stuff was added. And I see I’m not at even 80% yet! But I’m too the point where I can do stuff without my bicep exploding, so things are getting better!

First Ride of the season

April 20th, 2009

Only got 10 miles in, and could only keep cadence at 70. Pretty much hear “Passing on the Left!” the entire time. No legs or lungs yet, but that should come in a few weeks. I just have to keep on grinding.

Arm update! Almost back!

April 13th, 2009

Arm is feeling that it’s almost at 90% strength! I’m almost done with physical therapy! Flexability is much better, but not back anywhere close to what it should be.

Arm Update

April 6th, 2009

Went to physical therapy for the first time in three weeks. I’m coming along well, but still don’t have enough flexibility in my arm. If I go hard for a month I should be able to stop going (finally). When this ordeal is over, I think my arms are going to be in the best shape they have been in decades.
